Dear Competitors,
To make the WRTC competition much more interesting from a spectator’s point of view and to get the contesting community involved in the WRTC race, we are implementing a new ONLINE scoring system.
Each team will have a Wi-Fi router with a GPRS modem stick installed at its location. Both the router and the modem will have only one address open for connection. That will be the address of the WRTC WEB page with ONLINE scores. You will be asked to switch Wi-Fi on at one of your computers for this purpose only.
During very limited time frames on Thursday July 8, from 14:00 until 19:00, and Friday July 9, from 17:00 - 18:30, we need to meet with you to:
- check one of your computers with particular Wi-Fi router connectivity,
- install special dedicated software,
- check your Win-Test, Writelog, N1MM and TR4W contest programs for compatibility with the ONLINE scoring system.
It should take no more than 10 minutes for a complete procedure but please understand that there are 48 teams, so we need to work fast.
The router and the modem you will be connecting with during the Thursday and Friday tests will be marked and issued to your referee who will bring it to your location Saturday morning.
All referees will be supplied with GSM phones as a back-up scoring system and for communication purposes with the WRTC Judging Committee.
